Details for the 2010 'Three days of Thunder' Assen weekend:

Dutch Ducati Club web site

It will cost us Euro 70 for the whole weekend which I think is a pretty good deal. This is based on two persons, two bikes, one tent.

There's no need to book ahead, you can buy your tickets when you arrive at the circuit.

Reservations on entrance tickets is not possible, they have to be bought at the Welcome Centre, or in case you have a Ducati Club membership card, you will get a ticket for free.

One day entrance: Euro 15,- per person
Weekend entrance: Euro 25,- per person
Members of Ducati Club NL: Free ticket, by showing a valid Ducat Club NL pass
Children up to and including 12 years of age: Free entrance

Camping arrangement:
Motor/Tent: Euro 20,- + Euro 25,- per person
Car/Camper/Caravan/Tent: Euro 40,- + Euro 25,- per person

We reckon this is going to be one of the best weekends this year. All types of Italian motorcycles, including a Guzzi MGS-01 :P, and Buells will be in the paddock and on the track.

Can't wait to see and hear the Erik Buell Racing 1190RR-B in action :P...

Does anyone know what time the racing finishes?

Chris, what time are you leaving Assen on Sunday?

I'm trying to sort out timings for the ferry crossing, Calais to Dover.

Thanks

John

John - we plan to leave Assen no later than 3.00 pm on Sunday.

I've searched the Ducati Club web site but can't find a mention of race times - perhaps Ronnie will know, he checks this topic on a regular basis.

I'm booked on a tunnel crossing that gets me to Calais at 9am on Friday so should be in Assen around 3pm.

Would someone be kind enough to save me a camping space :D

John - if we're there before you we'll save you a camping space. Because we've never visited that part of Holland we intend to have a tour of the area before going onto Assen, mid Friday afternoon.

Richie, thanks for the offer :D Will the Dutch kids be as helpful as the Belgian kids :?:

CJ, have a good tour round. If I wasn't having to rush up from Calais I'd be doing the same. I expect we'll arrive at the same time....

Cheers

John
