Yeah, I know that Roz........bugger rang me at 8am this morning with his latest woes

Sorry Maz, hadn't realised :oooops: Glad it's not just me he's phone pestering ;) My first text was at 6 this morning :hehe:

Have now had two messages in confusing succession.

One from Kev at 1.03 saying he was about 20 miles away from the Lauwe BBQ and so one more stop should do it and then he'd be there.

The next from Ursus at 1.18 saying Kev was now waiting for a recovery vehicle to come and get him.

Have text them both but heard no more - dunno where he is or what he's up to now.

Guess he'll be there by hook or by crook - how he gets home is another matter :?

Great day out at Beull Day in Belgium. Really glad I made the trip. Good to meet up with Buell enthusiasts from Europe. Ronnie's riding was awesome to watch, and thanks to Steve for providing intro's to other UKBEG forum members. Final thanks and respect to Captain Kirk and the organizers of the event, great job, well done!
Cheers

Good luck with chatting up the nice (young) Belgian ladies ?

Hope Steve John Richie and Kev stick together for their return trip.

The little surprise for Mich and Dorske was touching, thanks Richie, i think ?

Managed to get home well, without any problem, except that bit of rain in Lauwe, which was gone after 15 miles. My apologies to Kev because of the cable, completely forgot that I left mine at my mate as an replacement for a broken one. I hope you came back anyway. I don't remember whom I talked to about how the BAS is working, but this is a picture showing it: http://www.rohrrahmen.de/faq/bassensor.jpg (Maybe a strong magnet could fix the "ball" at the right place.)

I hope everyone arrived his home well too. It was nice having met some new and already known faces. Many, many thanks to the organizers and the chef de cuisine, of course. Looking forward to participating in B-Day next year :yup:

Still thinking about what a funerarium might be ...

Just got home. Had a bit of rain at Gent but later the sun came out and dried my clothes while riding. Hope you all got back safe and sound.

And Kev Kev Kev, you had so much bad luck. I admire your persistance!! Strange how many people had their buell breaking down on the way to Lauwe.

The suprise 'wedding' ceremonie was very, very special! Whoever organized it: thank you so much.

Thank you all for being there!!!! See you lot at Deliverance III

Rode back with Kev and Steve, Kevs bike started playing up again at Calais and he pushed it through customs etc. got it thing started and rode onto the train, stopped at the services on the A20. Then his trousers broke!! the zip jammed fast and he could'nt get his money out. Had to operate with a pair of mole grips and a screw driver (Steve also made use of the mole grips to get his credit card back from a french petrol pump) ha ha. Kev is, I beleive in a recovery truck again on his way home, after stopping again 20 miles or so up the M20. He disapeared from my mirror so I stopped and called him, he was calling the recovery again, with Steve with him on the hard shoulder. The man is a hero for keeping smiling all weekend     :worthy:
