Due to a cock up at work it looks like I'm totally screwed on this one. :headbang: There is a remote possibility that I may be able to go last minute but then I won't be able to get into the in-field.

At least I can take consolation in the fact that Rossi won't be there ...

Sorry if you can't make it.
I can't beleive that the first Moto GP I'm going to that Rossi isn't going to be there.

It will be interesting to see who takes his place at Silverstone - Toseland, Crutchlow, Edwards?

We have two riders who've expressed interest in the track session on Friday - 'Albert666' and 'Sirwazzz' - I'll put these names forward when I submit the list for vehicle passes to Silverstone after 10.00 am tomorrow.

Anyone else for the track? Check in 7.30 am - on track 9.30 am.

Aye, British MotoGP without the Doctor won't be the same event ..... news now is that Roger Hairnet is pushing for that talentless youth from Sheffield to take the seat from Catalunya onwards, with Rossi back in the seat from Brno, which is nice 8-) 8-)

You'd have thought the doctor could fix his own leg
Give Hutchinson a go, gotta be easier than the IOM

You'd have thought so, but I remember seeing Joey throughout his glory years at the TT, and he was completely at sea at Silverstone - he just couldn't compete without the street furniture. Road racers don't do kitty litter, they prefer hedges & stone walls. (with the greatest of respect to Dobbsy  )

Whoever replaces Rossi will have to have already ridden in MotoGP - it cannot be a rookie - apparently.

Obvious really but just thought I'd remind everyone. There will be speed vans on the A43 over the MotoGP weekend, generally between the Towcester roundabout (McDonalds) and the Silverstone exit on the A43.

Prime revenue collection for the council, you have been warned.

Vehicle centre passes:
UKBEG members who require vehicle centre passes (motorcycles only) to access the bike clubs area must submit their Moto GP booking details* to me no later than 10.00 am Friday, 11th June.

I will forward the list to Silverstone and then post details next week about how you will receive your pass.

Any news on this yet? Apparently the post man has my tickets.

No news as yet. I rang them this afternoon about the passes and was told that there's a meeting at Silverstone tomorrow at 10.00 am. I hope to be able to post details shortly thereafter.
