well poor old muffin upset at being second choice decided to get his own back as you all know over the weekend ..........the story was about 120 miles into the journey whilst running perfectly the engine just shut down at 80mph............wouldn't restart but just backfired if tried ....linked out clutch switch sidestand ...changed relays and fitted new diodes but the bike would run perfect for a few miles then just cut out again without warning .....thought it was cured when after disconnecting BAS it ran perfect from Lauwe to Calais only for the bike to refuse to restart after checking in at the tunnel ...decided at folkestone services if problem happened on the way home i'd just get recovered, as on the motorway with so much traffic was in serious danger of getting rear anded as the bike gave no warning at all of when it would fail.So 30 miles on sat and waited for the guys from SOS motorcycle recovery who gave an excellent relay service home ....second van was driven by JIm who used to work at blackbear who instantly said .....Crank position sensors melted ...so tonight removed cover and sure enough it looks fucked lOl so glad i've found what looks to me could be the cause of my second interesting attempt at Lauwe in as many days lol......Muffin spent the night outside last night in disgust but have forgiven him now and put him back in the garage lOl lOl

thanks for meeting the UK buellers... its still great to see the smiles and what keeps the buellfeeling running.

Especially a very big applause to Kev. The inspiration to go on and on and on... and never give up. You told me that a german bueller was driven especially for you to offer his help. I never never seen the greatest bigsmiles on our Faces that the developer/programmer of ECM spy was helping, Yeah. After 500km, gunther was arrived... on his Blue Buell xbr, the only german bueller. He said... if kev is going, I will Go! keep the Buell spirit going Gunther.

I've uploaded my stuff now. Here's a short video of Ronny riding around the cones showing how it should be done! 8-)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W96-IsehYxg

And here's some pictures of his race bike. Its an 1125 with an XB12r fairing and fairing mounting frame. Seems to fit without any issues to the 1125 frame. It looks so much neater in my opinion, even with the original side-pods! If you look closely you'll see the pictures of the sponsors on the front of the bike. :yup: And he's using the torque hammer exhaust system from http://www.twinmotorcycles.nl. Apparently the bike runs a lot harder with the stock ECU than with a race ECU! He uses the stock ECU to race this bike and he's not doing badly.
