Funny how the non-Buellers liked the (ahem) red muffler while the stalwarts were politely disgusted... My thanks for your discretion, except for Spook, who was very frank...

Jake - it's pink, not red. Laura Ashley would be proud :hehe:

Had a very enjoyable weekend with some old faces and new ones.
Big thank you to Chris and Jane for the hard work in getting it organised, in spite of Silverstone.

Will definitely be there for the WSB. Thanks again.

We'd like to thank all the UKBEG members who attended the Moto GP event at the weekend and also Steve Loxton for providing the Black Bear events marquee for our use.

Once we'd got the Centre Passes sorted out the whole weekend ran quite smoothly :D....

Being able to ride straight into the circuit and park our bikes within the infield area was a great buzz, especially on Saturday and Sunday when spectator traffic was heavy.

The UKBEG stand overlooked Brooklands and Luffield, and with a large TV screen nearby we could follow the action around the rest of the circuit. Considering it didn't cost us any extra for the stand space it couldn't have worked out better. We enjoyed private parking and somewhere safe to leave all our kit.

On Sunday there were 16 bikes on the UKBEG stand, 10 of which were Buells:
4 off 1125CR
3 off 1125R
1 off S1WL
1 off XB12X
1 off XB12Scg

Norrie, who rode down from Edinburgh for the weekend :worthy:, would have easily won the long distance ward - if we had had one to give him.

A few pictures from the weekend...

Saturday - Paul's X1....

As Buellers I would suggest we are non-conformists therefore no need to go down the OCD route of lining everything up.............!

Seriously, top weekend, top organisation to all involved and I and everyone else, who's followed events on here, appreciate all the efforts made despite Silverstone's inept performance.

Big thanks to Chris & Jane and hi to everyone else I met over the weekend............ and thanks from my non-Buell riding friends who were made very welcome too!

:yup:

What a fantastic weekend.
Stayed at Leicester last night just off the Motorway and there was a Travel Inn near by to get a few beers and something to eat.
My face and neck are all sunburnt and it was really sore putting on and taking off my helmet.
I did 926 Miles this weekend and my bike has not got 5555 Miles on it so will need to get it booked in for the 6K service.
It took me ages to clean the bike as they were resurfacing a road on my home and all the tar stuck to the bike.

Massive thanks goes out to Chris and Jane for organising it all and providing me some company even if I did moan at everyrything.

Will defo do this again next year.

Oh and it was funny seeing Jake/Sirwazz falling off his seat and spilling his pint all over his program. lOl
I hope they caught it on camera.

We might have had 3 seasons in 3 days but it was a great weekend. Like so many other UKBEG events it brought fellow Buell enthusiasts together - who then proceed to make fun of each other :D...

Oh yeah for got to say.
Jake you really need to paint that exhaust black as it's shocking red.
Anyone that said it looks good is lying to you.
A good friend tells the truth. :D

Chris,
Was it Silverstone's incompetence (as I don't remember much of a problem last year) or was it Dorna's input into the event??

I am really looking forward to the WSB on w/e of 31 July/1st Aug!! We will be there!!!

I hope the weather will be as good as you had it for the MotoGP.

Jill :D
