Had a great weekend :D :D starting off with a stay Fri evening at the best ever B&B ;) with home made steak and ale pie awaiting me :) A great evening out with Roz and Tony and chatted up by the gorgeous Daughter as well :D (sorry Steve) :D
Had a good dry run down to the tunnel Sat morning. As already mentioned we had the company of a celeb for the journey and was very interesting chatting to her ......she is a very pleasant young lady ;) :D
Took a relaxed journey to Lauwe due to Mich being hungry lol :D :D so didn't arrive until about 6 after a detour due to the only piece of motorway we wanted to use being shut.
Had a great evening with great company .....need another ukbeg JoGLe tshirt though as lost mine lol but must admit it looks far better on its new owner than it did on me :D
Journey back to calais was slighty damp at time and only hiccup was stupid tomtoms that always freeze at just the wrong moment.
Arrived back in the uk to sunshine and had a dry journey as far north as Peterborough but then the heavens opened for the last 60 odd miles with the last 40 being very tricky due to standing water on the roads, so got home about 3-45pm very damp and soggy :D
Was a great weekend though and look forward to the next BBQ in August :D
Only downer being the absence of CJ & JJ

What's this about a bbq in August? Is this in Belgium and, if so, when?

Another great weekend in Belgium, all credit to the guys there for organising and putting on such a good show.
Ride out to Antwerp on Friday was nice and dry for the latter part. Thanks to Dewalt for the company from Antwerp to Lauwe on Saturday. ;)
Good to see some of the usual faces and some new ones too. Some great bikes there this year. I will post some of the photos later, but have to find a website that will not block some of the photos from the morning after, right GB   ;)

Uneventful ride home, except for the company of some very hungover riders (never ridden that slow on a mway before :o ) :)

Another trouble free 560 odd miles on the Uly 8-) 8-)

;)

The BBQ in August will be towards the end of the month either the 22nd or 29th but no doubt one of the Belgiums will confirm this when they have more info. 8-)

Sorry we didn't make it, I guess we'll have to move closer to the south coast....

You all seemed to have a good time in Lauwe, which is the main thing.

I hope the BBQ in August is the 29th, we should be able to make that. Last years at the farmhouse was brilliant.

Another brilliant weekend hosted by our belgian friends,
the beer, food & entertainment was good, (i mean the music not the circus act  )
interesting ride back,(all a bit worst for wear) nothin better than an open face helmet in the rain to clear yer head.
CJ Jane sorry you couldn't make it more food and beer for us.

Here are some of the photos from Saturday. There are around 50 photos on the album so once you have opened up one of the photo use the preview button top left to navigate around the album. ;)
