If anyones into re-enactments, there will be a invasion of Lepe beach, ( near Fawley ) By the British and Americans in landing crafts defended by the Germans on the shore.

Its a 2 day event with one diplay in the mornings and another in the afternoons.

Lots of noise and explosions.

Lepe beech is where they built and towed the Mullberry harbour from over to France during WW2.

You might recognise one of the Germans, John, a MOT tester and mechanic at Purdy's.

It looks like the Landings and battle re-enactment are only on once a day this year :cry:
