is there anything i can use to lubricate the filler cap on my firebolt? its hard to even get the key in the lock, then youve gotta wrestle with it to unlock it, and its equally difficult trying to get the key back out.

can i spray something in there, or does it come apart at all?

I had that problem on the Emerald Isle trip, sometimes tit took several minutes to get the key in.

Just fill the lock with WD40 or equivalent & work the key in & out :D

Works a treat :yup:

I thought you are not supposed to use WD40 for things like that.
it can act like an abrasive if there is any dirt in there and make the problem worse.

Sometimes I wish it would break just for something to do..... the Roz Racing Vision 80 is as good too, supremely reliable...... and quick. Although at 85 miles per gallon it's a bit thirsty.....

Don't see why, I'm still getting 90 mpg from the 125 engine. (which i thirsty compared with the 125 mpg the standard 90 engine was returning)
