I've just read this topic - how anyone can find humour in the fact that over 70,000 people were gassed/murdered at Bergen-Belsen is beyond me.

Chris, I'm sure no harm was meant; edging towards black humour it may be, and possibly too close for some, but the very fact that references were made means that thanks in part to Ike, 'we' have an awareness of the atrocities of WWII.
Rather that than be in ignorance, which happens when it's not mentioned or taught.
Rather that too than the denial of apologists and those of an arab or muslim persuasion.
