On the Uly I have a Dunlop Qualifier on the back and the original Dunlop D616 with no complaints... Not much point in putting unworn tyres in the landfill. When they both wear out I will try the new Maxxis.

The Grenade has an 11+ year old Dunlop on the back that will not wear out - did JoGLE with its fair share of burnouts and artful skids (came on a pair of wheels from an M2 that lunched it's engine and was taxed until Feb 2001). I can get it to the edge and bite at the heels of restone over Exmoor... When that wears out I have a Dunlop Qualifier to match the front.

The Firebolt has Dunlop Qualifiers, but on an excursion with GB, Steely, Ronnie, De Walt and other Dutch folk, the rear got a little hot and squirmed, the sidewall had deffo seen some temperature. On a bumpy surface, some of this could be put down to too much damping.

The Langster used to run Conti Gatorskins, but I put a Specialized Armadillo on the back last time, what a mistake, it is less compliant at high pressures so I have to run it lower and during extreme commuting it feels like the tyre is going to roll off the rim.

That old dunny on your grenade is a rubber wonder pash, remember looking at it thinking what on earth is that it must be ancient.
It don't half grip (even on poor bumpy surfaces)
Its still got loads left (tread and profile)
and there's no chicken striping space at the edges.
and it did a quality skid into lynmouth car park.
proper rubber :old: :worthy: :yup:
A great advert for dunlop

I will tell you something Rich, its the same as on my Trumpet and they are very confidence inspiring. If it sticks to the road and grips well with your fast riding style then I have nout to worry about!

will certainly consider trying them in the future Ash, just wish I could get more than 2k rear and 3k front............I ain't so much fast, as over enthusiastic and agressive, reckon an advanced course would help smooth me lines out and go fast with more grace ;) .........na bollox I'm just a hooligan :P

No it isn't, it is pre-2001 Dunlop rubber and IT WON'T WEAR OUT
