interesting stuff about docking. Frankly I'm neutral on the docking thing but my wife is keen on country sports issues and is adament that docking is needed. A friend who breeds spaniels told her she didn't dock once and couldn't sell them.

Docking day tomorrow.

Shot a bunny this evening and gave a bit of liver to the mum and left the bunny with her and the pups for a few minutes. It was the first time in the last few days when she got actively interested in anything other than her pups. She is sooo keen.

Cooking the bunny for her to have :)

Check the pics Normski  ;)

Lovely 8-) :D
Out of interest, I've seen white lumps on the livers of some bunnies that I've shot. I've asked a few people about them and they don't really know what they are. Have you got any idea?

Bugger, Adam I did know. No can't remember but recall still safe to eat well cooked (the rabbit not the liver).
Alot of rain at the mo but during long hot weather many rabbits suffer as they need due on the grass for water. Any following dehydration can leave them prone to a range of desease and parasites.
I prefere a winter rabbit my self.

Nate.

docking went well. I manfully stood in as the ladies retreated. The vet and two female 'work experience student types' were there. They were all mentally undressing me but I'm used to it.

The vet offered several docking options - short medium or long. She said medium was good coz it enables them to cover their privates and yet the tips don't suffer the damage mentioned earlier in this thread. So they had about half off - or 1". These are used along with slugs and snails to make little boys, so I understand.

Jue claws were checked - none present on back - and all were sexed - 4 dogs, 4 birches. Six are black/white and two bitches are liver/white. I held the blighters during the op - which took one second and a yep, 30 seconds of more yelping then fell asleep. The docking, micro chips & worming syringes cost £270 for 8.

The dogs are definately stronger than the bitches. One little dog-chubster was definately more of wiggler than most. Sound like anyone you know Normski

Shame, if the livers had boy-bits, the wife was all for snaffling one of them off you.

Our boy became a man when he had his wicked way with the outlaw's bitch last weekend. Now that he's figured out what it's for, he's sticking it anywhere he thinks it will fit.

Any stories about me having it away with the outlaw's bitch are entirely fictional. As are the rumours about me and the MIL.

(Even if she was a bit of a hottie 20 years ago  )

Mrs Norm is still going on about these puppies. Might be a liver bitch on the cards after all.
