I'm with Adam here-as long as they are designed for similar use but different manufacturer, then I don't really think ins would say much-they are more than happy for cars to have different makes front to back (but NOT different on the fronts/backs) 8-)

I've swapped brands between front and rear for years, over all bikes I've had. As with any new tyres, you make sure you get used to the feel, of the profile and the grip, with each end of the bike - before you go pushing too hard.

You'll get used to whatever combination of profiles, and the way the bike handles because of it, pretty quickly without thinking about it.

The same way people get used to the gradual flattening of the centre on the rear, and the shapening of the front due to wear on the sides. The only time you notice these things is when you get new tyres on...

My experience, anyhoo...
