I wonder what else is different about the 'Buell' stand to warrant £26 more than the universal stand other than a hole in the cup to acces the pinch bolt... Which you could remove first anyway?


EDIT: just called them - apparently the cups are actually shaped for the buell swing arms, its not 'just a hole' drilled in them

The Micron one is just fine, you can pick them up on EBay for as little as a tenner

Have those on my Harris stand and dont like them......I've had bikes slide forward off them :x

i splashed out for the harris stand, it is well made, i bought it because i had visions of a universal stand damaging the swingarm, or at least scratching it,
it has to be said though, it can be a bit of a mither to get it securely into those cups

is the micron front stand the last word for a ulysses?
