I've had an MT01 now for a few months and I love it.

Sold my Bomber last year when I was being made redundant. Once I was back on my feet I fancied a change (not to mention massive servicing costs for the Buell and no local mechanic) so went for what I saw as a Jap-Buell. Easier/cheaper to get serviced and loads of simple mod/customising options our there, and I'd always kinda fancied them.

A decent low-ish miler 2006 model should go for about £4.5k - I missed out on several before I finally got mine.

I'm sure your bike's worth every penny of 8k... to you. The problem with such extreme customising is you've a very small market - I've no doubt someone out there would love it though, and think 8k well worth it, so good luck!

Can't afford it but, ya know, I think it looks quite tasty.....the only thing I would change would be the angle of the top of the seat hump and make it match the angle of the frame/seat....

Personally I think the styling is spot.on but I am a fan of streetfighter bikes. It's got an aggressive stance and is a one off. Very good engine with reliability. if I could spare the money I'd be there.
