Speaking as a Deliverance veteran I'm gutted not to be joining you. Feel even worse now having just had a visit from De Walt on his way to Norfolk to meet up with the Dereham crew prior to riding up tomorrow.

Have a great time everyone 8-)

Steve

What a fantastic weekend, put faces to names although forgot most of them now! the alcohol ran freely so my head keeps telling me today! Big thanks to Adam and his family for a great day in a great setting with great people, sorry we had to dash off early this morning but family do on today. Was really looking forward to one of :maz: breakfast! Thanks again to all for making us feel welcome, cheers till the next one. Nick & Debbie.

8-) got home about 3pm ................had to leave early as working tonight :( ................it was a fantastic evening as always with a great bunch of folks ..........and like Silly b said huge thanks to Adam and Paula for putting up with us again lOl ...................I decided on taking the car after seeing the forcast was horrendous all the way across the country but had glorious sunshine nearly all the way there and only hit a couple of showers when about 30 miles away .................. just got my tent pitched when it started to rain so grabbed my coat out of the back of the car and took shelter with the others under the gazebos etc ................................the rain then came down heavier than i think i've ever seen it before including at one stage leaving the ground white over with hailstones.
It came down that fast that a river of water ran across the field running straight through a few of the tents  Only lasted about 30 mins though and then it was tshirt weather all the way through the evening right up to 2am 8-)
My plan of using the car to save getting a wet arse backfired though as in the rush to pitch my tent before the rain started i'd inadvertently left the drivers window open :o lOl ......................so have had to sit on a pile of bin liners all the way home lOl

Again, thanks to Adam and Paula for letting us all stay, and to everyone there for the good craic! :worthy: :worthy: :D

Trev, Walter and I had a dry ride as far as Birmigham, and then the heavens opened. Walter peeled off at the end of the M6 to head south. Trev and I got back to Dereham at about 13.00 (the last 80 miles being warm and sunny), and I heard from Walter soon afterwards that he was waiting to board the train at Folkestone.

Can't wait for the next one!

What another fabulous Deliverance. Adam and Paula yet again you welcome us all with open arms and allow us to invade your little corner of heaven on earth. Thank you so much :worthy:  . The weather was on the whole kind to us and never really cold. What showers we had were sharp but short except for the deluge (but even that was relatively short lived). It certainly was an experience to see a river running down the field and through the tents, however on the whole I think everyone got off lightly, with only a few damp round the edges. Every year we look forward to this event and seeing friends old and new. Deliverance holds such a special place in our hearts long may it continue with the good grace of our lovely hosts :sun: :4roz:
