No panic here mate, because I would rather get trench foot than spend the night in a barn with Whitey

Had a great W/End with good company, although a little damp but stayed dry for the eve function.
Thanks go to all at Twinpower for an excellent party.
Also a big thanks to Mo & Trev for guiding me through the back roads and getting both wheels of a lumbering Victory in the air ShiiiiiT!,Ha! Ha!
Will take the Buell next time.

Another great weekend with great company. Think it epitomises the UKBEG way of life. 8-) Someone posts details of the event, a few people post suggestions of crossings to take, everyone makes their independent travel arrangements, meet a few people at the services, meet some more at the Tunnel, hook up with a few more at Cassel then finally all arrive in Lauwe.

Drink, smoke, eat, mingle with our hosts, tap our feet to the bands, have a laugh then crash out.

Next morning, no agenda but everyone gets up when they want to, pack their tents when they want to and meander their way home in whatever groups they please generally meeting others on the way. Of course there are some.....Kevmean with Ronnie and Burning Chrome who we leave on site to use it as a springboard for further European adventures.

In the absence of CJ I feel inclined to try to tot up the numbers. Apologies to anyone who I overlook :)

Kevmean and Ronnie (1125CR)
Jill Brown and Ade (XB12Scg and FJR1300)
Blackrag and B (1125CR and CBR600)
Darren and Abi (Blackrag's mates on a Multistrada)
Mo (XB12X)
Trev (XB12S)
Steely (XL1200S)
Willy Buell (X1)
Pepper (XB12S)
Richie and Gary (M2 and GSF1200S)
Mr Waff (Victory)
Pedro (X1)
Burning Chrome (R1200S)
Mojomick (T595)
Buelling Banjo and Carole (M2)
Raingod (MV Agusta Brutale)
Me (XB12X)

That's a total of 23 Brits (if you include Ronald the Frog lOl ) on 20 bikes of which 11 were Buells. That's enough lists for now, might manage a few photos later. Thanks again to everyone for their company 8-)

Steve

What a wonderful weekend. 8-) I may not have been feeling particularly well, but I wouldn't have missed it for the world. Some throat lozenges, paracetamol, ibuprofen, gin and beer seemed to do the trick. lOl I may have left the party a little early (at midnight) but had a lovely time with some really great people. Thank you UKBEG :yup: :4roz:
