To cut a long story short I bought the old mans CR off him (but keeping his username), stonking bike, its standard except for an FMF apex exhaust, nice and loud

Im looking to put bar end mirrors on it as cant see naff all out of the standard ones.
Can anyone tell me how to remove the stock black plastic bar ends please?

And anyone recommend Front indicators that look similar to the rears?

Cheers

Mark

Welcome and enjoy the bike :yup:

I fitted Oberon mirrors and indicators bought off someone on ebay. Very happy with them, visible from both front and rear. Mirrors so good you could just use the one on the right bar if wanted.Oberon kit is well worth the price.

Thanks for the welcome.

I plan on enjoying the bike throughout the summer, just hope its a good one.

I actually have the oberon mirrors, used them on the morini and guzzi, but did not know you could get matching bar end indicators from them that would all work off the bar end, I will have to look into that.
Your bike looks great, any chance of a few pics of your mirrors/bars?
Thanks very much

Mark

Cover the bar end with a rag, or even better, a bit of leather, and twist them out with Molegrips tec.
The mirrors on the Duc are the worst in the World, so I fitted a rear view camera and screen. I works well and only cost a bit more than a couple of bar end mirrors :yup:

Can I ask about your rear camera and screen? I've taken the XB12R mirrors off completely, to improve lane-splitting ability, and currently using a Bug-Eye helmet mirror (which works surprisingly well, actually) - but the idea of a screen is tempting...

You work well and cost less than bar ends? - Your missus must be pleased with the investment.

Oh and pictures/details of the camera thing please. I cant think of where I'd put a screen though.

Oh and a +1 for Oberon mirrors. Have a set on my Guzzi - always clear, which is more than I can say for the previous incumbents. Image is a bit tiny for my liking though.

I've got a wireless rear view camera fitted to my 1125R but it suffers from a lot of interference so I don't bother with it any more - if you do get one then you'll be better off with a wired one.

Cheers for the pics, looks great.
Yeah Oberon stuff is great, unfortunately I have the streetfighter bar end mirrors so would have to change them and then add the indicators. I have a pair of rizoma bar end mirrors that may work with the oberon indicators, will look more into that.
This rear view camera sounds interesting too though.
Cheers

This is the wireless rear view camera + screen made by 4K. Works ok on the Duc.

The camera part is mounted under the number plate light.

From where you sit, you can see the IC over the camera screen.
