Hi

Does any one know the thread type and size of a XB12XP 2009 Clutch Adjustment Cover Bolts, The thread on the primary cover has gone and I need a helicoil kit to repair it.

If any one knows the correct helicoil kit and the best place to buy them from the information would be greatly received.

Regards

Joth

The three screws? 1/4 UNC...

Plenty of kits on eBay. Make sure you have helicoils the right length, they are sized in multiples of thread diameter, i.e. 1D, 2D etc. you don't need much torque on these, hand tight with a T27 driver will do it, so 1D will be sufficient.

Thanks for the info, I have ordered the Helicoil kit.

I could not believe it stripped off the primary cover, replaced the leaking seals and gaskets, put it all back together and the very last screw just went round and round. :(

Ordered the Parts Manual so that should help in future.

Regards

Joth
