Can anyone confirm what thread the spindles are please I think it is metric 24mmx2 am I correct???

I dunno but it is easy to measure. Get your ruler out and measure the distance over 11 threads and divide by 10. You can measure the diameter I am sure. It is metric.

I have a X1 spindle which I got with the arm but looks like the previous owner only had a adjustable and a hammer for a tool kit, so was just going to convert my S1 need a die as lathe only screw cuts imperial.
Pash: It won't going rusty as will ensure it has grease on it so you won't tell the difference between the gleam of cadmium and steel.
