Is that a genuine 2010 MODEL as in with an oil level sight glass or just 2010 registered ? I see it does have the later type pod deckles.
Why does it need a new ecu?

My 2010 had an ECU change under warranty. It kept blowing headlamp bulbs and spiking the voltages. I thought it was the Voltage Regulator but Shaws said it came up as ECU and changed that. Seemed fine for about a year then did the same again. BlackBear fitted a Compufire Reg/rec and all seems good since :yup: These are great fun bikes and ECU or voltage reg isn't too much to change.

A blank ECM is £430, then there will be the cost of programming it.
