Hi everyone, im Chris.

I have a 1999 X1 Lightning Blue racing stripe No. 151 of 350, for sale.

A short history about it:
I bought it in 09.2007 with 9,800 miles, it had 6 previous owners. I took it to a big 10,000 miles service to a Doncaster Harley dealer. Since then it had 3 oil changes, new front disc around 13,000 miles, and a recent service in last month included new pads front and rear, new tyres/ michelin pilot power/, new battery, new brake fluids, and of course oil and filter change. Partial service history because after the big sevice, i wasn't satisfied with the harley service, so i took it to the local triumph service and they doing a great job always. Never kept it outside , but i havent got a garage, so i kept it in the front room in my house. Its in original condition except the Vince and Hines exhaust.
It has 12 months Mot and 6 months tax, 15,548 miles.
I'm looking around 4,100 for it.
I think i'll cry when i see it go, but i just haven't got a time to ride it and it doesn't deserve just to stand in the house, so if you are interested or know somebody who could be,please don't hesitate to contact me at

There are much worse sculptures in other people's living room. One thing about keeping it. It will be there when you have an itch to scratch.

But if you must.... post some pics. Been a while since I've seen a blue stripe.

Well if you do win Jill don't do what a local guy here did ...... he won 3 million quid about 7 years ago and has now gambled the lot and from what I understand is now bankrupt :o ...........he's the same age as me and basically had it made , it must be worse to have had and wasted than to never have in the first place .

Thanks for the warning Kev. lOl Don't fret about me though....I must have some Scottish blood in me as I tend to hold on to any excess money for as long as I can....just in case...lol Spend but always keep something in reserve... :yup:

Being a tight arse has nothing to do with being Scottish, In the last thirteen years living in england I have encountered more miserable gits than I ever did up the road :x
