Hi guys had problems with battery discharging diagnosis battery no good changed it but have same problem read the threads so time to take of and check voltage regulator. The seal on the back looks ok but the plug considering its in an oil free area. Was full of what looks like engine oil ,I laid it down after removal and oil just ran out ,,any idea's or suggestions thanks ribi

Thanks for that Gunter I opened it up and its shot so I will hardwire and double insulate with heat shrink ,,less is more kit still doesn't explain why the plug was full of engine oil and no sign of dirty external wires ?? Factory lube ?
