Jus a few quick questions.com...going to europe in two weeks, heading towards Luxembourgishish on my 07 Ulyssesessess....HEADLIGHTS..does anyone bother with masking off the dipbeam?....the lights are pretty average at the best of times, i dont want to cut out more light

And, has anyone got any good routes they'd like to share with me, or a web link with some on? and campsites in Belgiumish.

Theres two of us one on a plastic fantastic kawasaki ZZR1200 and me on me Ulyssessess, no real plan just gonna head there n back, got 5 days.

Cheers...Dave

i'll reply to myself then

Nah don't bother masking heed lights of...unless your going to Switzerland or south of france...where police are keener than a keen thing....

managed 1200miles in four days riding through France, Belguim, Luxembourg and Germany....you jus gotta go ride in Germany and Luxembourg aint bad either.

Campsites..loads in Lux..twas a pain finding one to accept us in Belgium ont Third day.

NO issues with Ulyssess which i my humble opinion was made for the twisties ...we both got a misfire from a tankful of petrol in Vianden, Luxembourg....not sure why but the Uly kept coughing now and again and the ZZR kept spluttering on hard throttle openings....both bikes cleared once filled with a fresh tank .

If there is anyone who wants the heads up for a first trip abroad...ask away and i'll tell where we went wrong and where we got it bob on.. :D

Asda

Ouch - I felt for you there mate. :o
Sorry no-one replied, that's most unusual hereabouts.

Pleased the trip went well, sounds like you'll be doing more in the future.
The Uly is a great Eurotourer, can't knock it 8-)
