For info heres what I did.
Removed Remus and jack under the engine. Isolator bolt and the bolts that went into the head requires a 2 foot pipe over the ratchet handle to get them out.
Had bought a palmer products isolator saver
http://www.palmerproducts.co.uk/ but didn't need it as I took off the old rubber ring and put it on the new bolt.
Here are some pictures of the old and new designs. Looks like buell stopped adding the rubber donut to the bolt and instead incorporated the bump stop rubber in the casting where they were already bonding in the rubber insert. Also the old isolator was powder coated (badly as per most of the parts on my buell) wheras the new one is anodised.
