Yup, think so. Last time I dropped mine I had to buy a pair and only needed to replace the RHS.
I'll have to motivate Tone to go run the gauntlet with the crap in the garage and find it, but when he does it's yours :D

I have in my posession a footpeg. Genuine Buell with the logo on n everything :D . I also have a major discussion going on about which side it belongs on.
Looking at it, with the outside edge facing outwards (towards my left) and the drill holes facing inwards - to my right as I sit here at the pc - the opening on the attaching end is towards me.
I'm pretty sure this is the left hand one. Perhaps you could let me know whether this fits with your requirements. Then we'll have to arrange a handover...

Norm, yes it was OK in the morning - twas on leaving work - left foot slipped in the work's "bike park" and very slowly - down I went - was actually surprised that the peg snapped - the rest of the bike's OK - just a few light scratches on the left hand pod - my leg was in the way and broke its fall ...

Ironic really, on the day I drop the bike HD drop Buell :(

Roz, if it is a Lightning peg with the one inch drop then name your price !

I am so peeved about what has happened that I really do not want to give HD any of my money at the mo.

I dunno what alloy they're made from but I've tried to weld them with a Tig and it was possibly the worst weld I've ever done. I now keep a set in stock for Mrs Adam when she has her moments

Hiya,
It is the lightning peg, of that I'm certain.
Yours for postage and a donation of your choice to the site. Unless you want to meet up to collect :D

I didn't know you cared ! ;)

Seriously name your price and a donation will be made in your name - the way I feel at the moment HD can stick their head where the sun don't shine !

I'm seriously thinking about dumping the V Rod - I reckon it's worth 2 to 3 Buells at their current market value ...

Wheeey hey! Ok, you sell the V-rod, buy a coupla Buells, including an Scg and give me the Scg. I'll swap ya for the footpeg. Deal?

You wanna PM me your address and trust postie to get it to you in a reasonable time or did you want it sometime this year and a trip to Kent to boot? Seriously, can post it Monday if you like, I really don't mind what you pay, whatever you think is reasonable. It aint gonna fit on the trumpet and I doubt I'll be owning another Buell anytime soon.

Look at the slang - can you tell it's red wine Friday in the Wheeler house? You could have, easily, if it wasn't for backspace

and that, in more sober terms said....

I'm sure it's a lightning peg, I used them on my 'bolt. If you want it then let me know your address so I can post it (though with the postal strike looming it may be quicker to arrange some other means of delivery/collection, let me know if you have better plans).

No worries about how much you pay, just a donation of some sort to the site, I'm just happy to be able to help out a fellow Begger ;)

:4roz:
