If it's a 2001 MODEL and not just a 2001 reg it could be just the bike for you ;) 2001 model had all the upgrades done that were ever a problem on earlier tubers ;)

.........and the frame geometry is better than an M2, so that's the handling sorted 8-) Not that a well riden M2 is any slouch in the bendies :D

I've got both and the difference is noticable.

Hi Niall, Interested in your x1. More details and pics please. I have just joined ukbeg and am new to forums too! If easier to send pics to my email address its marcdirollo@uwclub.net I am in Bonnie Scotland so need as much info as poss. I am new to these bikes, always had sportys. Hearing and eading some horror stories about reliability issues bout the tubers but i still want one. My pal is on his second M2 and has had a couple of probs but nothing serious. Any info greatly appreciated from anyone reading
