Hey Guys,

Bought grandstand tickets for MotoGp Sunday Race day but thinking about the best place to stay overnight on the Saturday (with creature comforts etc).

A mate recommended http://www.ketteringparkhotel.com/

I wondered if anyone had any other places to recommend around Silverstone?

Thanks
Neil

Yes, Jill, we're still on for the special 'Bike Clubs Package' for Thursday thru to Sunday, 17th to 20th June. I'm told it will include camping.

I should have the details before Christmas, or soon after.

Planning for certain aspects of the Moto GP event has been delayed by the Formula 1 contract talks at Silverstone, which have now been concluded.

CJ,

Sounds as though details are a little sketchy at the moment but do you think that If my mate Bravo is ok with Camping would it be ok to camp with you guys on the Saturday night or do we have to buy a three day pass? I reckon my mate will want to stay in a nice hotel but I might be able to swing him round if the option is there. Would be good to see all you guys for a few beers :yup:

Neil

If the BSB deal at Silverstone is anything to go by, it is as cheap buying the weekend deal as it is to buy a single day!!! It would be good to get all the Buelligans camping in the same area, so we can take over a part of the campsite. More fun like that!

I'm not sure of the finer details but I was told that Moto GP camping for UKBEG members would be at, or very near, our club stand/display and not a fair distance away like it was for the BSB in September.

I'll post full details as soon as I receive them :yup:.....

Dont know if it would be of any interest but if its ok for caravans I could take ours up and do some drinks and butties for the travelling masses when you arrive  Then I could tarmac the track and nick some kit ,make a proper weekend of it. :ill:

I really think it would be great if we could all assemble in the same area and set up a camp of our own. The only problem I have with that, is the fact that we will be unable to get there until the Friday evening about 8.00pm, (due to my work!!) I do hope someone can reserve a pitch for us. I don't want to be miles away from everyone else.... :sad1:

Also need it to be flat as I tend to fall over after a few drinks (eh, Richie??)

I reckon me, Kev and Neil will be up for it as well. Not in the car though can't handle the car park shenanigans. Will try and persuade Pash as well this year.
Trouble is he doesn't know his Lorenzo from his Rossi. Bit of a whizz with technical stuff though.

Oh yeah will be happy to do sandwiches.
