lost mine on the way home from paignton last night. was talking to someone, put my camera back under the seat, and for some reason didnt lock it :oooops:

off out to look for it now, but its 30 odd miles so not much hope .

found it. plastic cover is scratched to buggery, would take a gallon or 2 of novus to fix it. ordered a new one for £40

Check out BWB - somebody posted instructions on how to recover badly scratched bodywork - it basically consists of using progressively finer grades of wet and dry before a final polish up - at least then you'd have a spare.

i have looked it that. its badly scratched, but if i cant get it near perfect i will just use it when carrying luggage. also will come up wtih some kind of 'leash' to stop it happening again.

that or not talk to people anymore :roll:

As long as you don`t do what a mate did on his Daytona, he did similar with a length of para- cord, when it did come off it trapped between his wheel and hugger, nearly threw him off. :roll:
