I personally think Erik should be making stuff that is becoming obsolete for the old bikes rather than this :Dummy:

Remember though that he may still have his hands tied to a degree with what he's allowed to do with our Buells as HD own the rights to those not Erik ........ they've already shafted him so why would he want to get them out of the shit by taking over their responsibilities ?

:shock: Very nice indeed, although the exhaust would have to be swapped out before I took it out in public - exhaust design, not one of Erik's strong points lOl

mmm, although i have no interest in the head down, ass in the air, stuff these days it is very pretty apart from the end can, which is a bit, no, a lot, of a cosmetic disaster, ( and the belly pan looks a bit as though they ran out of time and just reached for a ruler ).

Just think of the people waiting several weeks for their parts to arrive and it will only get worse :headbang:

I like all the stuff Erik is doing, but I will come back to my original point, why is he not creating fixes for known problems on 1125s? Things which spring to mind:

* Unbreakable clutch slave cylinder
* Uprated charging system
* Sprung belt tensioner
* Fuel vapour trap / fuel tank insulation panels

EBR have been able to make discs, chain conversions etc., so I can't see what would stop these potential products from coming to the marketplace.

I am inclined to think that it is HD's problem now.

Shame it has Erik's name on it though, shame he retains the same frame and engine installation and shame he is using the same basic engine for his new creations...

Your new to marketing aren't you? These won't sell bikes just highlight the weaknesses. Look at the cash the EBR bikes are these people will buy with the heart many probably won't even research the issues.
EBR may have to fix the faults later but have they got the resources to do so whilst still moving forward. Isn't this the problem with the other pre XB Buells (too many recalls for a small company) and even when they were part of a much larger company the recalls and warranty problems surely must have been an issue with Harley when deciding what to do with Buell.
You are right they should fix the issues but they won't they want to make sexy motorbikes the 1125 is the bike Erik always wanted to build. But great engineer as he is I still think that he somewhat misses the point re getting everything right and tested before going to market.

I can't help thinking that if there are so many VERY well documented issues and equally respected sources of knowledge ( :maz: ) that EBR really should be taking advice from said sources about said issues as a matter of PR urgency!

Perhaps someone should pen them an email... You never know, they might even listen... Might even want to chat... As an emerging brand they'd be crazy not to

They'd be doing themselves a huge PR favour - might win a few more fans/prospective customers and might even fix a few issues.

If the likes of Maz were listened to, respected and (brand nirvana) treated/respected as 'brand ambassadors' by EBR, you'd have a very powerful PR tool.
