Ready to roll. HP Big Oval fitted and everything else re-attached last night, and nothing fell off on the way to Sheffield this morning.

Well a soggy meet tonight and we were amongst the less hardy to turn up in cars. All credit to CJ, JJ and Del for braving the weather. Jackie is now firmly lulled into a false sense of security that forum members are harmless

Lucky is taking his image seriously now he is getting so much fan mail from HMP residents
Image

Although I think they will still recognize him when he tries to go incognito
Image

CJ goes for the cheap round option again by waiting until everyone is leaving and making a token run to the bar
Image
We still love ya CJ (and your frugal ways) ;)

Del also showed off the next part of his bionic Uly to need attention (remember we can rebuild it)

Seriously Del let us know how you get on

A good evening with plenty of laughs. It wasn't the best of nights so I don't blame you for coming in cars. At least you made it there, which is the main thing.

Sorry for walking past all of you in Squires :oooops: - at first I didn't recognise Claire with her hair let down :P...

Derek's (delw) Ulysses and our Guzzi V1100 kept the rufty-tufty two-wheel flag flying.

Claire - buying Rick that new fancy camera phone isn't a good idea you know. I can't believe my timing, I offer to buy 'a round' and you decide to leave. I did have to buy Derek a coffee though, so my wallet didn't take too much of a hit :ill:...

For the purposes of everyone else not present. The images show the right hand section of the subframe on an XB12X / XT. Found this evening whilst washing the bike that it had snapped through. Needless to say I won't be taking a pillion for a while (and my current pillion only ways 8st anyway). Bike is 3 1/2 years - 17.5k old.

Item is £95.60 from JerseyHD.

I'll be heading down to LeedsHD on Saturday (during the Buell Open Day) to show that one off.

Very very lucky that you noticed the damage ...doesn't bare thinking about what could have happened if you had been carrying a pillion and the other side gave way.....loosing the complete rear portion of the subframe at speed whilst carrying a passenger would be very scary indeed...would be interesting to find out if others have suffered the same problem ....not as if yours is loaded up with luggage.
